Title IX of federal law prohibits discrimination on the basis of sex in education. But now, the Biden administration has redefined sex in Title IX to include gender identity. The administration’s radical change now means that in all educational institutions that receive federal funding, administrators must bend to the new rules. These include allowing men into women’s private spaces such as locker rooms and dorm rooms, letting boys share hotel rooms with girls on school trips, and mandating faculty and teachers refer to students using inaccurate pronouns and names—even when it goes against their conscience.
